Sharon's teaching style is rooted in the belief that the practice of yoga serves as a mirror for the self; by observing ourselves through the practice of yoga, we can gain deep insights into the nature of what makes us happy, what holds us back, what weaknesses we need to overcome, and which dreams we should pursue. Sharon has been a practitioner of yoga for the past eight years, and seeks to share with others the strength, happiness, health and peace that comes from the practice. Her style combines the teachings she has gained from practicing Ashtanga, Forrest, and Classical Hatha yoga, as well the mystical teachings of Kriya Yoga. Sharon received her teaching certification from The Temple of Kriya Yoga, is a RYT-200 registered instructor, is certified in prenatal yoga, and has apprenticed to Master Forrest Yoga teachers Talya Ring & Steve Emmerman.
