The basis of a strong yoga posture is understanding the posture from the feet up, it can give you a feeling of solidity you have never experienced before. To help expand your posture knowledge, each week we will focus on one of 6 categories: standing postures, forward bends, back bends, twists, hips, arms/core. We begin with breath focus, and ease into a properly balanced asana practice. Close attention is paid to alignment suitable for your body. Posture variations will be offered for those ready for more challenge. Appropriate for all levels, especially those who want to work on posture alignment.
