Think yoga is for women? Think again. For 98% of yoga’s 5000+ year history, yoga was practiced almost exclusively by men. Think you are not flexible enough to do yoga? You do not need to be flexible to do yoga – yoga creates flexibility. Concerned about how you will look doing yoga? No worries - no one will be watching you as all are encouraged to savor their experience. Concerned that someone will twist you into a pretzel? Pretzels are for eating, not a yoga studio. Yoga is great for those who participate in sports. Many sports work one side of the body more than the other; yoga helps balance this out.
This is not a vigorous, heated, or power class.
