This is a combination of several forms including an incredible form (Chaoyi Fanhuan Qigong) I learned in Malaysia. On the 3rd Sunday of each month we have a Mindfulness Meditation class. Please call first for further information and to confirm the date and time. ***PLEASE NOTE: This summer we are meeting weekly on Sundays as often as possible. We are doing a mindfulness sitting for 20 minutes, then a Labyrinth walk, and then a sit. Time is 10AM-11AM. Call to confirm.

Maya Yoga is founded by Eddie Modestini and Nicki Doane who have studied with Sri K Pattabi Jois and BKS Iyengar. Maya Yoga is influenced by Ashtanga and the eight limbs of yoga by Patanjali and Iyengar’s style concentrating on alignment and breath. In Sanskrit, Maya is defined as illusion and the play of nature and it’s constant change. Maya Yoga is an open system of yoga that respects the individual and is open to all. This system of yoga allows the practitioner the opportunity to truly get to know oneself through the practice of meditation, asana, pranayama and the philosophy of yoga.
