Jason Morris

Jason teaches to share the profound healing aspects of Yoga practices. After years of martial arts and ballet took its toll on his body, Jason started searching for anything that would alleviate his physical pain. Little did he know that after one class, yoga would change his entire perspective on pain, mainly that pain is not always generated from the physical body. Just weeks of class began dissolving physical and emotional blockages in his body. Months passed, and his mushy knees were strong again, the scoliosis and chronic pain in his spine were lessening, and his mind was finally calming down. Because his journey with yoga has been one of healing, his classes focus on this energetic aspect of yoga, uniting mind and body for profound healing and transformation. Students will definitely find the asanas (postures) and alignment, but you will also find balancing breathwork, restorative poses and meditation to bring your consciousness into a state of blissful peace and connection with your true Self.
Arrival on the mat is only the first step to Immortality.

Jason completed his 200hr Foundational and 300hr Advanced Yoga Teacher Trainings at Yoga Works NY under the tutelage of
Yogiraj Alan Finger, with Kara V Sekular and Jean Koerner. Though Jason has studied primarily with western Tantric master Yogiraj Alan Finger - and still continues his studies under him - he has also been privileged to workshop with leading teachers:
Shiva Rea (Prana Vinyasa Flow), Elise Browning Miller (Yoga for Scoliosis), Chris Coniaris (Anusara), Kara Sekular (ISHTA), Vedic Priest Namadeva (Advanced Mantra), and Sharon Salzberg (Insight/Vipassana Meditation).
