Students can use Shantibird to locate new yoga classes at home or when they are far away. They can also recommend classes to friends and view other classes listed by their favorite teachers.
Yoga teachers may create a profile page where they can list their classes at various studios and locations. Teachers may also refer their students to their profile page to let them know about the other places they teach.

Shantibird was created based on the idea that a person shouldn’t have to already be part of the yoga scene to find a yoga class. We want more people in our classes, and we want new people to reap the benefits of yoga that we already enjoy. But often times a student only know of the studios they pass every day, and misses out on the wealth of classes offered in their area that are off the beaten path. And many new students are not even bold enough to enter a studio and their class options are limited even further. Shantibird.com seeks to bridge the gap between prospective yoga students and the growing community of yoga teachers.
