Colleen has been practicing yoga as a dedicated student for nine years, and as a teacher for four of those years. She is certified through Yogi Master Alan Finger's Be Yoga, in the ISHTA (Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra, and Ayurveda) style. Colleen has developed a style all of her own, taking a gentle approach, honoring the body, and paying detailed attention to alignment.
Focusing on body awareness, the breath, and the energy in the body, Colleen seamlessly connects your body, mind and spirit.
She offers instruction in various styles, including Slow Flow, Hatha, Gentle, Restorative, and any combination.
Colleen has also taken additional training, and specializes in Therapeutic Yoga, Yoga for Special Children, Prenatal Yoga, Postpartum Yoga, and Mommy and Baby Yoga. She teaches private lessons, group classes, group corporate lessons, and monthly workshops. Colleen can be found teaching exclusively at BlossOMing Yoga in East Nashville.
