Laura Albertson's Yoga journey began in 2005, when she tried her first class at college. She has practiced regularly ever since, witnessing her practice evolve from physical exercise to spirituality through asana, meditation, and study.
With the intention of helping others find the sense of purpose and self-worth she found through yoga, Laura became a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through Yoga Alliance. She teaches classes at Mill Stream Wellness Arts in St Joseph, Minnesota, as well as private sessions to groups, individuals, and prenatal students, and corporate classes.
Laura's philosophy in teaching is to utilize yoga's versatility to help her students customize the practice to their needs and intentions. To her, the essense of Yoga is summed up in Chapter 18, verse 63 of The Bhagavad Gita: "I give you these precious words of wisdom; reflect on them and then do as you choose."
